Heath Park Lodge is a small, friendly lodge formed over 75 Years ago. Our membership is growing and men from all walks of life enjoy each others companionship at regular Masonic meetings five times per year. You can find out more about our Lodge by visiting http://hpl5058.webs.com/

History

Our Masonic meetings are held on the 4th Saturday of January, 3rd Saturday in March and May, the 4th Friday in September (Installation) and the 4th Friday in November. Each meeting is broken down into three parts. Firstly there are administration matters to deal with followed by a ceremony to initiate a new Brother or for another to progress within the lodge. Each September we hold the installation meeting of the new Master and his officers for the ensuing year. Each meeting is followed by a Festive Board where the Brethren dine together, enjoy each others company and make new friends if guests are in attendance.

One question that is often asked is about cost. It is true to say that we are self sufficient and do not rely on external contributions. There is an annual membership fee, costs for dining and refreshments. Each meeting Brethren make a charitable donation that is given to good causes. The amount is entirely up to you and should always be within your means.
During the course of our Masonic season we meet on most Wednesday evenings, between September and May for Lodge of Instruction, commonly referred to as LOI. This gives Brethren the opportunity to rehearse the ceremony for the next regular Masonic meeting in a friendly and less formal atmosphere, usually with a few laughs along the way.
Your next step is to contact us to arrange a convenient time for a relaxed chat about Freemasonry or for you to come along to our Freemasons lodge and meet some of the members in informal, relaxed surroundings if you would prefer. This will give you the opportunity to look around Upminster Masonic Hall and ask any questions you may have. There is no obligation for you to progress any further than simply making enquiries but rest assured we will try and make the contact as friendly as possible and give you all the help and information that we can.
