Surprise Presentation for Companion in the USA

Michael J Ramos a Brother and Companion, from across the pond and a great anglophile is well known to many around the Province

 being a member of the Essex Cornerstone Lodge No. 9968, several side orders and joining Shoeburyness Chapter No. 6665 during September 2021.

Mike made a sojourn to the UK back in May 2022 and attended many meetings. Unfortunately, his Supreme Grand Chapter Certificate was not available to be presented to him by the Deputy Grand Superintendent, Elliott Chevin on his visit to the Shoeburyness Chapter on the 4th of May. Mike, however, didn’t miss out on the wonderful explanation, as he listened to the presentation to Companion Jack Webb.

Richard Jordan, Provincial Grand Secretary (ProvGSec) knowing he was taking a belated trip stateside together with four other brethren, arranged to meet Mike on Traitors Day, July 4th, at Salito’s Crab House in Sausalito, California for lunch.

Following a delightful meal and catchup in a great place the ProvGSec surprised Mike by presenting him with his Supreme Grand Chapter Certificate.

Possibly the first such presentation of its kind.
